Does this support GitHub Flavored Markdown?

Yes. GFM mode supports tables, task lists, strikethrough and autolinked URLs alongside headings, nested lists, blockquotes, images, fenced code and other standard Markdown.

Can I use the HTML in WordPress or another CMS?

Yes. HTML Fragment mode produces semantic content markup without page-level styles, making it suitable for WordPress, CMS editors and existing webpages.

Is the Markdown preview safe?

Yes. Preview HTML is always sanitized in the browser to block scripts, event handlers, unsafe URLs and embedded executable content. Output sanitization is also enabled by default.

Is my Markdown uploaded or stored?

No content is uploaded or sent to an API. Optional draft recovery stores the draft only in your own browser and is off until you enable it.

Can I export a complete HTML page?

Yes. Complete HTML Document mode adds the doctype, responsive metadata and your choice of Minimal, Article or Documentation styling.
