Does this tool upload my photo anywhere?

Only if you choose the Cloud AI engine — that image is sent securely to LuxTool's Cloud AI service and the result is returned to your browser. The Local AI engine runs entirely on your device and never uploads your photo anywhere.

What's the difference between Local AI and Cloud AI?

Local AI downloads a small model to your browser once (cached afterward) and removes backgrounds for free with no daily limit. Cloud AI is LuxTool's cloud-based service, limited to 3 free images per day per visitor.

Can I add a new background instead of transparency?
